Spacious , basic , adventurous , comfortable ,airy , well light ,and yet rustic . Its huge , its behind the DLF Select Mall int he Food Block .. can accommodate 150 people in go , has a smoking room inside itself .. a long stretched bar to lean on .. two amazing bar tenders .. who listen remember and serve .. the team is old and know their customers well .. so that a welcome to the comfort zone at TC's . They have the largest stage permanently set for Gigs .. regular evenings with new bands , old bands , jams with senior musicians artist etc ,, man TC has carried the buzz for 25 years . Dont think there is anyone who love rock music who dies not know about TC .. its legendary . And if there stil someone who missed knowing about TC please make a dash for this new Cafe In Town TC .
This post if dedicated to a Dear Chef Friend Trepan Singh Negi , who has come up the ranks int he food world , has worked with many top chinese and continental restaurants in the city .. his best part is that he is open minded , he knows his stuff and works hard onhis food .He started his career in food in 2004 .. wow 11 years .. that speaks a lot about the man . A Chinese chef has tuned him self to now cafe food which is incredible and i salute him for what he has doen to the new menu at al the TC's .
He deserves all the praises .. these chefs are inspiration . how they strive to learn and progress and stay with the times .. outstanding effort .

Compliment on the menu design . beautiful . I love menu and appreciate Picture Menu's they talk so much tot he customer , it adds to the ordering and eating delight . A good mix of dishes to satisfy all palates , its an all day dinning menu .

| Oreo Shake at its best |
My Bar tender friend insisted i tried his Oreo shake . i love the way these old teams members bully us around .. sir you have to try come what may .,. and here im going nahi bhai .. anyways could n break his heart .. quietly had the oreo shake and quite like it ehehehehe besides the fact that i had a meal ahead of me .. cheers to greediness and goo friends across the bars .

| Grilled Prawn with garlic bread |
All the sins in one spoon , lemon butter , prawns , garlic .. brilliant dish by Chef Trepan . Perfect even sized prawns . Basically you have to enjoy the grilled prawns soaked in lemon butter , then take the garlic bread break it dip it in the sauce and relish it .. yum .

I was not meant to try this dish ..but then tigers weakness is Bacon and that too with cheese and that too on top of friend .. how could i resist ... have had this dish or snack all over the world and trust me the cheese makes the difference unfortunately our cheese is not pungent , sticky enough to relish this poutine .. but having said that .. a greater starter with your cocktails and pure sin for the indulgent .

This was a eye catcher .. look at the awesome wooden bowl , real rustic style of serving the chicken . The south Indian way of a kfc .. spicy crispy chunky served with the dosa wali red sauce .. tomato and chilly based .. nala irke , Loved the crispyness , the tangyness of the chicken .. the floating kadi pata added a nice distinct flavor to the dish , and specially tot he wedges .

| Armageddon Burger (Spicy Lamb Burger) |
Here comes the king , Basic , filling , juicy , fresh and great value for money .. Loved the onion rings for starters .. the burger itself was well made .. shud i say like home or wil it be taken negatively.. The patty was nice big and juicy , recommended to the chef to have a hand pounded patty instead , just to make it more rustic . it was fun eating the jumbo burger for only 399 . a total steal .

Hahahahahaha coudn get over this dish Butter chicken gravy Risotto.. so cool and why not . Butter chicken is a winner thanks to its sauce and thanks to the chicken .. The texture of a risotto the flavor of the desi butter chicken . perfect mix for a punjabi hehehehehehe A good combination and i love the Serving dish ..

| Desi Tenderized Lamb Cutlets with Minty Ghee Emulsion |
Desi Tenderised Lamb Cutlets .. hehehehe pyar se bolo Galotui Kebabs hehehhehe Dont know did they want it to be positioned as a conti dish or its just a googly in english . Whatever it was perfectly blended meat , super masala's , great meaty flavors .. good binding .. went very well with the great accompaniment of the chutney . A super starter yet again .. but will ask Trepan about the name funda for sure hehehehehehe
"25 years ago the four friends got together to open this awesome hangout called Turquoise Cottage at adhchini . Those days was a bit far even from def col .A oriental food restaurants with a basement pub - awesomely decorated with old stuff , a great feeling , wooden furniture ,rustic comfortable look , playing fantastic slow rock of the old school .. they showed delhi the way to hanging out and were instrumental in getting rock back into our lives .. I personally was there almost thrice a week , held so many parties there , walked out drunk umpteen number of times .. made the chef stay back to cook Ande kee bhurjee in the wee hours . my god was it fun . The Legacy stil goes on and aren't we glad . One of the partners in crime was Gaurav Soral .. he has come a long way for sure and so have we , we all have aged together .. i stil remember gaurav coming to my office to understand how o accept credit cards at the outlet . it took us two weeks to train the mangers cashier etc in the same .. and today heheheheheheheh.. Gaurav a teetotaler Vegetarian hotelier is deep into music .,popular among all rock lovers , known to al bands in the country .. because he gave bands a platform to perform at live gigs.. from Adchini they moved to gurgaon with yet another friend , then they came to vasant vihar where they created another baby called the rabbit hole .. basically the concept of open jams brought to the city by them .. every Wednesday had a line up of bands and all senior musicians .. man what music they created together . Now gaurav and his partner have started Cafe TC .. trust me you see the venue you will fall inlove with it ,modern chic , spacious ,good booze good food .. a sure shot success story coming up ".
