Lahori Shah (indo Pak venture not sure about this but the food is from both the countries) - A hidden jewel yet to polished and shown to public - bang opp select city , where oplacio used to be - next to lagoona banquet (the parking guy is good fun pls chat with him )- the entrance is a bit bumpy but then you enter it is FAB - lovely greenery , dim lighting ,olive like feeling of candles , a beautiful courtyard with huge trees under who u dine - awesome setting for the winters . The Food was just awesome - Kebabs curries and garam rotis what mover do you ask for in the winters - We were 6 of us took the help of Anuj the man in charge and ordered all the best dishes - this was my first exposure to pakistani food to was a discovery trip - i was told pakistan is hard core meat and bar b q hence was delighted to eat the kebabs - we ordered - Chappli Kebabs - nice ,something different need to eat them again to understand how thy are made , Dilli 6 ke Seekh - just outstanding they had a twist in them ,Gilawat Ke Kebab - melting ,Murg Tikka peshawari - man this was just awesome , well marinated well bar bqd - just awesome ; Banno Ki Seekh - think it was chicken seekhs freshly done melting - Main dishes only Three but was enuf for 6 of us after the major kebab war - Haleem - outstanding - have had it a lot of places but this was just right ; Noorjhani Murg korma - never had a qorma like this before - hari chutney ,coconut ,spicy and delicious - something really unsual and without the regular oil floating onit ; and then begum Anarkali ke Nihari - wah wah - lahori shah ne record thod diya - was just awesome .... the breads were safed roti , lal roti ,till naan,muglai parantha etc cudn really check the ingredients as we were so occupied polishing of the gravies - net net a new place , no glitches at all - presentation needs to be improved , food was delicious ,hot juicy flavor no extra oil and cream like the usual crap that we get all over the food was just cooked right... awesome setting , ambience , definitely going back to make a bigger killing - We paid appx 900 per head which is not bad for a specialty restaurant like this .well done amit and thanks anuj for the service .
