FATBURGER - Cyber Hub Gurgaon

Americas Fast Casual Restaurant Chain .. opened two weeks back is slowly becoming the talk of the town .. back home in the US Fatburger is associated with a number of celebrities and stars . Here in India they have been brought in by Vazz Food - headed by Vikramjit Singh a Dosco , ST Stephens and a  UCLa Grad . Vikramjit is a passionate foodie like all of us , he truly lives to eat , he had been eyeing bringing this chain to India from his days in LA ,California and eventually He DID IT . 

Very American interior wooden floors nice mosaic on the ceiling , a lot of etched glass for affects , spacious , the very american red leather upholstery black uniforms , energetic team of servers .. nice 80's music playing , a great place for a nice juicy burger . Located on the first floor of Cyber Hub Gurgaon attracts a lot of buzz with the glowing signage .. and yes the name "FAT Burger " Makes you visualize what you are going to get . They are going in for liquor licence soon and am sure they will create a buzz . Burgers and Beer the American Way .

So was invited to review the Fatburger, held back for two weeks , guess why ? How to tell wife that im going for a burger review .. so took me two weeks of story building to reach fatburger hehehehehehe...  I went along with a dear friend who is a mad mad meat eater and a guru on burgers .. we were greeted by vikramjit himself .

Thick Creamy fresh that's all i remember of the Shake and yes it lasted thru the review .. guess that the way its to be had , with the meal .

Chicken Twisters

Fiery on the wings .... Lovely Spicy tangy sauce on the Delicate delicious wings - they give you three options for the accompaniment sauce - blue cheese dip the traditional , the mustard and the lemon sauce .. All are awesome ..... 

Amritsari Onion Rings

So these International Brands have to indianise , appreciate the fact that they are not rigid about following recipes and the menu to the T .. they have to be flexible and experimentive. The masala is like the Beera chicken masala .. beautifully golden crunchy , spicy to represent Amritsar at a burger joint ...  Good show a great modification of the onion rings a must try with Blue cheese dip.

Wild West Chilli Chicken

Lovely chicken Mince nicely ground , spicy and tangy with a nice layer of cheese baked with raw onions served with nachos .. had this for the first time .. quite like the combo . The fun of diggin in really makes feel at home .. They could have baked all of it and sent it one plate but this idea works better . Wild west naam hai ..hehehehehehe

The Burger Parade .. started with like a low tempo of the usual burgers not making me so excited was expecting everything "fat" about the burgers .. hehehehehe Shudn be saying this tho but as the parade continued they became better and better until i was totally in awe of them .

What makes a Good Burger : The Bun - Firm , The Patty - juicy , chewy not rubbery , The Cheese - melting not over powering ,The patty should not be soggyto make the bun also soggy , the patty shud nt  crumble , The Sauce - light to make it a bit wet not running , The Pickles - just enuf  and the Veggies - fresh and crunchy.  And yes the size matters ... height and breadth. I personally feel a burger is to be always eaten with your hands ,, hence the burger shud be just right sized to hold and to bite ,have seen these humongous obnoxious  burgers ,people fighting to bite in and then everything falling out making a mess of the meal .  

So our experience started from ordinary went on to a foodorgasm.

The Shroom

Bun , Cheese, Mushrooms, cream cheese , mustard and a bun ..... The combination of mustard and mushrooms drives me mad and the Shrrom burger did that to me ... The patty was nicely done with mild masalas as i may call it .. ful flavor .... over al a good veggy option .. my partner was eating it very reluctantly heheheheheh.

Outlaw Spicy Crispy chicken

Amercas favorite Crispy Spicy  fried Chicken burger... honestly speaking this was not my type of a burger ... i cant have fried chicken inside .. but was told by the team that its  one of the largest selling burgers back home .... they layering was the same . but with fried chicken , Im sure fatburger can add more spice to it or do some magic to make it different ... 

Triple 'P'

Honestly speaking i liked, rather loved  the Paneer burger ... they have played with the marination very well , spicy tangy and a good crunch... so veggies you dont go bhooka and this burger is definitely worth your while . Done in three different spices a burger well done .

Chicken Caesar Wrap

More of a light eaters food , simple wrap with chicken, lettuce tossed in vinegrette dressing and a bit of mayo .. a bit bland for me but im sure people wil love it for the freshness and yes people do love wraps ....

Jannat Burger - Never had it Better

Even after having a series of burgers we went for this mean meat burger and that too double stack  .. and i t was so worth it . To be honest the temo was like ya ok what next till this mean burger was ordered by me - Fat Stack with Two patties and a fried Egg ... you have several options of top ups , we went for this one and Droooooooooled .. like two idiots we actually burst the yellow and jumped for our cameras to capture the moment of the yellow tricking down the sides of this monster and specially  with watering mouths .. heheheheheh.. What a Burger is all I can say .. Bun ,Cheese excellent juicy tenderloin patty cheese another patty Fried egg veggies and then the bun  to close the monster.....  My sincere advise to al buirger lovers " Please go for a double stack - that is what matches our stomachs and palates ...."  We didn care about the fries , didn care about the cole slaw just pigged out on the awesome Tenderloin burger ... 

Sorry if I Sounded like the Dummies Guide to Burgers ... heheheheheheheheh.

Tigers Overall Experience at Fatburger..... A burger a simple product . a case of stacking up ingredients to make a flavorful story on the palate .... A burger to me is Super Filling , Each bite should make you go uummph .. a bit messy and to be finished without breaks ... once in the hand it has to finish , you loose the grip you lost the fun of eating a burger  should be manageable . The Bun shudn crumble , the veggies should be fresh and crisp , the sauces shud not over power the meat flavor and the meat patty shud be juicy flavored and not half done . The Overall experience even tho started on a low noted ended at a real high , next time wil pakka start the other way round lesson learnt .... You cant have many of those so make the first one only nice big and juicy . Good Value for money .

Ambiance : Very american , just out of the archies comics remember pop tates cafe same same .. lively ,peppy , youth full... nice hangout and with beer coming in it will be a great after office hangout for cyber hub , good for family too .... great ambiance.

Service : Wonderful kids , enthu , fast , educated about the product means well trained ... Always smilling .
