The Delight of eating at HACHI Ba - run by Kalsang Kelly a hans raj grad - from sikkim with tibetan roots - He certainly knows the authencity of tibetan food . The place unfortunately is a bit far for Gurgaonites and very far for delhites lol . But if u r a foodie distance never bothers and if you drink then nothing bothers LOL . He invited us over for a meal while the Tibetan food festival was ON - somewhere close to Aardee City - on the right side opp a booze shop is Hachi Ba - coincidentally its a bikers haven too all the bike clubs end up there after their long rides . Kelly was given the liberty to order what he like for us - and so he did - Pork Steamed and fried Momo's with a mustard chilly dip sauce - Mind Blowing , the juices intact inthe momo the meat taste right there and the sauce was tangy n chilly - i firmly believe there is no meat better than pork - and there are no momos better than pork momo's - whie we ate one of us slipped out to the booze shop across and got a bootle of Old monk - you can carry your own also - wonder how this works in gurgaon but it does . The Kelly ordered several killer dishes starting from a Cheeze Thupka - flat noodles with tibetan cheese called churpi - just delicious and his portions are huge ; main course - Shabaleb fried bread stuffed with veggies and pork - a bigger momo but different filling - grt stuff along with this came with Jhasha Chupstey - tangy chicken stir fried - then then came Ting Mo & lowa - ting mo is the tibetan steam bread in layers and Lowa is actually goats lungs nice and spicy ,meat so soft - with deadly radish salad - sorry about this but there was another dish we tried Shapta my old time favorite - sliced pork with chillies - this is a killer dish reminds of my days at majnu ka tila - i also requested him to make for me Cho Cho with omellete on top - but he did and the stomach also revolted - lol - the desert Chocolae Momo hahahah was reluctant to eat it but did and loved it . HAchi ba ambiance is warm - food is awesome - kelly is a good looking guy and a super chef - the booze shop and liberty to BYOB is a added plus - shall be back again soon .
