Tigers Experience : Cafe 88
Beautiful gorgeous spacious Interiors - very Victorian
flavor for sure - well spaced out mix of a lounge and a sit down diner . The
place gives you the happiness of space cleanliness and purity . The loos
sparkling cleam - everything is so new and shining .On the Flip side - the food
doesnot match the ambience , the waiters need to gain more experience in
servicing customers abs unattentive leading to yelling across the floor 'excuse
me ' hate it . The owner has a plan in mind - til they dont get a liquor
licence they serve economically priced food to keep the place going and then
launch the lounge with a new menu - this is my prediction . Since they are the
owners of Yeti the food is 'experienced'.
The Food - luckily we were * of us hence cud
order a wide selection of the menu - we ordered Potato Skins - very average
seemed microwaved hard ; Caesars Salad looked nice but unfortunately the salad
leaves were limp which spoilt it all ; Datchi pork - awesome cheesy goooeey i
loved it wife hated my eating it lol ; Nasi Goreng - a total NO NO - man what
chillies all that we need was a fire brigade to come and put the fire out -
even after requesting the shef to minimize the chiilies it was a flame - and the
answer we get is that we serve it this hot toba toba ; The Classic hamburger ,
The Alfredo pasta - very very ordinary ; the fish n chips now here is the
interesting one - fish beautifully battered and fried tasted awesome but how
can you serve fries the thin mc donnalds type fries with such a
-n awesome dish -
the same fries were in the burger which is ok - array yaar thoda dhyan do and
yes the desert was which was obviously out sourced - A Bil of 5134 for 6 dishes
- 4 manins and two starters not bad at all .
But interestingly they have an amaZing coffee and desert menu - and trust me as a hi end lounge bar this is the place to be in and to watch out for - as rightly mentioned by my fellow foodies - there is a disconnect between the ambience they have created (expected to be a real fine dinning decor) and the food they serve- Please visit for the decor the space and ambience ; hope they improve their service and food soon ,im sure they will .
